Camberwell Covers is run by Giles Byford and Jill Parkinson from our Dutch Barge "Hawthorn". We make and fit bespoke covers, cratchboards, cruiser canopies and frames; we also undertake repairs and alterations to existing cloths.

Living and working on the water, not running a car, not charging VAT and not employing people means that we are able to offer quality work at prices lower than comparable cover makers. However, this also means that we only  work from our barge on the Bridgewater canal in Cheshire.  While most of our work is local, cruising boats often plan their routes to accommodate a few days in the Lymm area while we make and fit new covers. Should you wish to use this service please contact us to book a slot as we are always fully booked for several weeks.
